Corrosion Protection
ASTM B-117 is used to measure the level of corrosion protection provided by a test fluid at extreme conditions. Steel panels are treated with the test fluid and are allowed to drain for 2 hours. then placed in the salt spray cabinet that contains a fog of 5% salt (NaCl) solution. Even after 1200 hours of exposure to the harsh environments, WD-40 Specialist Corrosion Inhibitor helps prevent corrosion when compared to untreated metal.

Direction of Use
